Trail Description

Trash - A Whistler mountain bike trail. You may miss the spectacular Cheakamus River views from Trash because you’re busy trying to stay on your bike. The technical is amped up to match the scenery. It circumnavigates the landfill but you’d never know it as you bump and grind along the river canyon wall. The entrance is off the Cheakamus River/ Callaghan Forestry Road that runs behind the landfill station to Calcheak and Brandywine. At the bottom of the fi rst hill the trail heads up right into the flagged alder. It climbs a few small switchbacks to start and after a little couch time, you’re off . Craig Kozman came up with this one while searching the banks below the falls for Lumpy’s kayak and found instead bear trails that looked like they’d work good for bikes.
