Trail Description

Rebob mountain bike trail in Whistler was built by past WORCA president, Bob Eakins, just prior to the last ice age, on trails reclaimed from old skidder roads. There’s nothing too intimidating here; just classic middle end Whistler single track blend of roots, rocks and forest floor up and down through cool second growth.

The trail roughly parallels Alta Lake Rd, can be ridden both ways and has entrances on the north side of Twenty One Mile Creek at the Rainbow Lake Trailhead and at the crest of the west side hill 700 meters or so north on Alta Lake Rd. From the Rainbow end you can ride straight up past the log gate on the left (which is the access to the Flank, Alp D’Huez and Whip Me Snip Me) to where Binty’s joins in from above and drop in left to enjoy the last bit of the Binty’s, a fun technical descent or take the first junction right and follow Rebob north.
Any rights will tend to put you back on Alta Lake Road while lefts will keep you in the woods and heading north. At the north end of Rebob you can cross the road to the top of Bart’s Dark Trail which will speed you back to the Rainbow trailhead and entrance to the south part of River.
