Trail Description
Industrial Disease. This Dan Swanstrom classic mountain bike trail is a real Whistler epic; with the climb up (no shuttles ) and some steep ascents in the middle, it has lots of spots to ponder your commitment to rock face and steep rooted riding. It starts two creek crossings up the south Flank from Function, after the Flank changes from switchback to old logging-grade climbs keep your eyes peeled right for a short uphill burst of single track leading to a prominent rock spine, the spot to lower your seat, adjust your attitude and ride, don’t slide. Approaching the lower third of the descent a left will lead you north to Lower Sproat and Beaver Pass in progress or continue the fun right to emerge at Alta Lake Road by the tracks.
