Trail Description

Brandywine Falls mountain bike trail just south of Whistler is a cross country route with high speed double track, rooty riverside single track, basalt features, a suspension bridge and a beautiful waterfall at the end. It forms a section of almost every Squamish to Whistler mountain bike race and the Sea to Sky Trail. From Function take the Cheakamus/Callaghan forestry road right of the landfill site south and over Cheakamus River pedestrian bridge. Just prior to a clearing with basalt columns on the left and the railway tracks straight ahead take a small road left that will put you up and over a hill to the Cal-Cheak Forestry Campground. From the back of the south campsite, single-track wends its way to the suspension bridge over Callaghan Creek, hugs the river to railway tracks on the right. Cross the tracks and ride the road to a left under the hydro lines (If you get to the highway you’ve gone too far) From here the cross-country trail rolls south through basalt and pines to Brandywine Falls
