Trail Description

Big Timber is a fairly new Boyd built multi use Whistler trail descending from near the top of the 2.5 km paved Kaidenwood Road climb out of Bayshores subdivision. The trail starts about 50 meters down the Whistler Mountain service road on the left. Beginning with a few stairs, the 2km blue descent to the Creekside base area has nothing really technical on the way down but offers wicked views of the Tantalus Range and Tricouni Peak, makes a great fitness loop with the option of a little patio action at Dusty’s as a reward.

Directions

You climb 2.1 km up the Kadenwood road and head either up the stairs to the left or go don the ski out 50 m. and let her rip.

Don't let the bike guide

Don't let the bike guide ranking make you cocky(in the book it's a Blue/Green ride) it's more of a hard blue compared to the Zappa Trails.

Entrance is labeled as "Big

Entrance is labeled as "Big Timber Park", it's hard to miss.

Makes a great Bayshores/Creekside loop if you start out with the Spring Creek/Interpretive Forest connection then head up the forest road to Tunnel Vision beforehand, also a great workout with the two hill climbs.
