Twoonie Rides looming early with scant snowfall.

With the snow turning rotten in the valley and the trails starting to peak out like the crocus's in White Gold can the riding season be far off?
Having just gotten a new metal hip in November, skiing has been scant and I am itching for that 12 week window so I can give'er.
Thoughts have begun to turn towards riding and 2010 looks like a busy year with WBG growing a bit and becoming the Whistler Demo Center for Santa Cruz Bicycles.
We are also involved in 4 events for the season.
The first being our Loonie Race on June 10th at the Riverside Campground. The next event that is on the grid is the BC Bike Race which ends in Whistler on July 3rd on a course woven into the valley by WBG owner, Grant Lamont which will include many local favourites.
On July 17/18 Grant has teamed up with Free Ride visionary Richie Schley to stage " Lord of the Trails" an enduro Free-ride melange that will be the highlight of the season.
On September 5th, WBG will be helping to stage the XTerra National Championships which is an Off Road Triathlon beginning in Alta Lake and finishing at Nita Lake Lodge.
Finally it is the Cheakamus Challenge Fall Classic Mountain Bike Race on September 18th, this marks the 21st running of this nasty old school marathon that features some of the best trails and scenery on the planet.
