Time to Get High!

Whose Sustainable Now.JPG

With the recent heat wave we have seen the snow melt like bankers in a senate hearing. Now we can really start to enjoy the riding as all the big climbs shed their winter snow and reveal their teeth.
Yesterday,I had a great ride with the Brown Doggy who made light of my recent arthritis drama and pointed us up the steep pitch of Lower Sproat.
This little loop is my new best trail in Whistler as it combines Lower Sproat which features 2 new sections of sweet climbing grade just recently completed by Chris Markle.
The first section "Piece of Cake", was finished last season and now with the addition of section 2 it makes for the sweetest climb on the west side.
You can combine it with Beaver Pond or choose some of the more challenging diversions such as Danimal of 99'er to get back down to the valley.
Also recently made more user friendly is "get over it" that connects Mel's and Rebob in a very entertaining and brilliantly built trail.
Don't forget to look at the views, pull branches and crap off of the trail and if you run into any big downed trees along the way make note and drop Jerome a note at trails@worca.com.
Leatherface awaits!
