"Lord of the Trails" July 17/18 2010
After 2 months of careful thought and planning there is going to be a new event in Whistler this summer which will re-define the complete rider.
The brainchild of local Free-ride legend Richie Schley and WBG partner, Grant Lamont this event promises to be a fusion of both old school and new school riding skills.
The name of the event is "LORD OF THE TRAILS" and will feature 6 trails over 2 days.
Not just any trails but a variety of ups and downs which will test the riders skill, fitness and ability to interpret terrain as it comes at them.
Each of the 6 trails will not be revealed until the day of and riders must use 1 bike for both days.
They can change their tires and set-up for each trail but in the end it comes down to 1 rider, 1 bike and 6 incredible trails.
