Trails are a Great Use of Tax $$$!

The Province of British Columbia is working towards its strategy on Recreational Trails for both non-motorized and motorized trails in the corridor. Trails are an amenity for all facets of our communities and if they are to be used as a recreational tourism engine then they have to be built and managed effectively. We only hope that the time, energy and resources that are going towards this project will be followed up with a regular and plentiful supply of resources from a diverse range of sources.
The trails that have been built throughout the corridor are treasures and may not all represent what is a Trail Standard and with some carefully designed re-routes etc. we can see the trail networks impacted but also expanded through a net gain policy.
