Spruce Lake Riding Adventure
The lads from Whistler Bike Guide have been riding the "big ride" playground in the Chicotin for many years. We are now pleased to offer a true back country riding experience with the convenience of departing and arriving back in Whistler on the same day.
All of the riding in the South Chilcotin area is cross-country riding at its absolute best! Trails weave their way through some of the most beautiful terrain in the world. Ride through alpine meadows, view great Canadian wildlife and take a refreshing dip in an alpine lake.
Our packages feature float plane service direct from Whistler on Tyax Air. You'll be flown from Green Lake in Whistler to Spruce Lake located on the alpine’s edge at an elevation of 5,100 feet. From Spruce Lake, your group will ride more than 25 kms of rolling singletrack along the Gun Creek Trail through the most spectacular meadows of wildflowers and ever-changing landscapes.
At the end of the ride you have two options for returning to Whistler; one by float plane direct to Green Lake or by shuttle van.
Tour prices start at just $510 per person for 5 people flying into Spruce Lake and driving back to Whistler. The fly in / fly out option starts at $610 based on 5 paying riders.
Prices include transport to the float plane dock in Whistler from Whistler Village, Float plane service to Spruce Lake, float plane or shuttle van return to Whistler, a 2010 Santa Cruz carbon Blur XC or LT bike, experienced guide and a package lunch.
