Boat & Bike on the BC Coast
The Whistler Bike Guide crew took to the seas recently for a biking adventure on BC’s Sunshine coast. There is great riding to be had along the coast with some hidden gems built by the folks that helped bring great riding to Whistler. For the end of October the weather was great and the rain held off each morning. The low hanging cloud adds to the mystic of the coast and creates a dramatic backdrop of sea, mountain and sky. It’s amazing who you bump into in the middle of nowhere as we crossed paths with Dean & Andreas of the BC Bike Race, http://www.bcbikerace.com , filming some promo footage for next year’s race in the Roberts Creek area. The Boat & Bike combo (B&B) is a unique way to explore riding areas otherwise off the grid. Anyone interested in an adventure in 2010 can give us a call.
