What to Expect

We will depart from our base in Whistler village and shuttle to the float plane dock on Green Lake. After loading up the plane, you will enjoy a fabulous 35 minute flight to Spruce Lake, located on the alpine’s edge at an elevation of 5,100 feet in the Southern Chilcotin Mountains. From Spruce Lake, your group will ride more than 25 kms of rolling singletrack along the Gun Creek Trail through the most spectacular meadows of wildflowers and ever-changing landscapes all the way back to Tyax Resort. Your group can either ride back to the resort or a truck shuttle will be provided. Your return to Whistler can be via float plane or shuttle van.

Where You'll Ride

You will follow 25 kms of superb singletrack flanked by alpine lakes, clear running mountain streams and wildflowers. The rolling trails through Spruce Lake Provincial Park will bring you down to an elevation of 2,200 feet. After gathering to share all of your "trail stories," you’ll return to Whistler.
