Overview

Riverside, Whistler's only RV Resort & Campground, is located in a relaxing and picturesque setting within a short distance to the main Village.

Riverside is the base of operations or Whistler Bike Guide providing a true Canadian experience featuring self-contained log cabins on a beautifully landscaped 20 acres situated beside the serene glacier fed Fitzsimmons Creek.

Riverside is a destination resort with on-site recreational facilities including Riverside Greens, a professional real grass putting course, Volley Ball, games room and covered BBQ area. The resort offers hotel like amenities such as a Front Desk, on-site restaurant and laundry facilities.

The famous Whistler Valley Trail runs directly through the resort giving you easy access to year round outdoor activities and the amazing trail network of Lost Lake.

Riverside offers scheduled complimentary shuttle service to Whistler Village for our guest's convenience.

Log Cabins

Cozy, Comfortable, Convenient

Fully self-contained, the hand-hewn log cabins are perfect for the family holiday, vacation with friends, or a romantic getaway. The cabins feature a bedroom with Queen size bed, a loft with two single beds (no standing head room) and a pull out sofa bed. The compact kitchen is equipped with a range top, oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster and all dishes, cutlery and cookware. Other features include a TV, VCR, hide-a-bed sofa, cozy duvets, and windows that open to the fresh mountain air. Just pack your suitcase as all linens are provided.

RIVERSIDE GREENS PUTTING COURSE: While visiting Riverside, be sure to play the professionally designed real grass 18 hole putting course. The pro shop provides putter rentals for adults and children and also serves soft drinks, ice cream and snacks.

RIVERSIDE JUNCTION CAFE: Popular with locals and guests alike, the café serves delicious home-style meals at reasonable prices. Eat in or relax in the sunshine on our outdoor patio.

RIVERSIDE MARKET: Riverside Market carries all of your basic grocery needs, as well as barbeque briquettes, firewood, ice and ice cream, toiletries, toys, souvenirs, sunglasses and video rentals. Everything you need to enjoy your Whistler stay is available at Riverside Market. Licensed for beer and wine. Open at 7 am daily for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

OTHER ON SITE AMENITIES: The Resort also provides open grassy areas suitable for friendly games of soccer, bocce ball, or football. Enjoy the sand volleyball court built to professional standards or test your abilities at our horseshoe pitches.

While you are here be sure to visit the games room or enjoy a family BBQ. Riverside offers scheduled complimentary shuttle service to Whistler Village for guest's convenience.

Riverside RV Resort & Campground Zero Tolerance Policies:

In an effort to ensure the comfort, enjoyment, and safety of all guests, the Management of Riverside RV Resort & Campground will, at all times, enforce the following Zero Tolerance Polices.

Please be advised that if any guest or visitor should choose to ignore these policies, Riverside RV Resort & Campground reserves the right to refuse and/or terminate occupancy to the party(s) involved, without refund, at the sole discretion of the campground operator.

BEAR AWARE POLICY

Whistler is home to the Black Bear and we are required to ensure that they not invited to Riverside for a visit and/or a meal.  Our community is committed to coexisting with, and preserving the life of our Bears, as it is commonly the actions of humans which endanger the life of these animals.

• As a guest of Riverside you are required to store all food and scented items (including your toothpaste!) within your vehicle or cabin when not actively in use. 
• Clean up and store all food and cooking utensils when the meal is over.
• Regularly dispose of any garbage and recycling in the containers provided on the campground property.
• Never leave your site or cabin unattended with any of the items improperly stored.

Zero Tolerance:  All guests occupying a site or cabin that is to be found in violation of this policy will be fined $75.00 by Riverside Campground Management, and immediately evicted without warning or refund.  Should the Municipal Bylaw Department or the Conservation Officer attend to the property you may expect additional fines of $200.00 up to $750.00, and the possibility that the Bear will have to be destroyed due to your negligence.

QUIET HOURS

In consideration of your neighbours during your stay at Riverside, it is required that our quiet hours be respected between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am daily.  Resort Hosts will introduce themselves to you at some point during your stay, and should they remind you during evening rounds that quiet time is now in effect, this suggestion should be accepted as good advice!

Zero Tolerance:  The Resort Hosts will provide a friendly reminder regarding our quiet hours once only.  The consequences of any complaints after 11:00 pm will result in stiff fines, a visit from our local RCM Police, and immediate eviction without refund
